100512 – Hazardous Waste
Hazardous Waste introduces employees to what hazardous waste is and the characteristics that make waste hazardous.
The learner is introduced to hazardous waste label requirements and how to use safety data sheets when working with hazardous waste. The course provides an overview of how to properly handle, segregate, store, and dispose of hazardous waste and how to respond to spills, leaks, or other releases. Lastly, this course empowers employees to speak up about any unsafe behavior that they witness or suspect.
This course includes branched content for supervisors and employees who are responsible for hazardous waste management safety procedures.
