100502 – Staying Safe With Hazard Communication
Staying Safe With Hazard Communication covers how employees can stay safe when handling hazardous chemicals in the workplace by using Hazard Communication or HazCom.
First, this course ensures learners understand what HazCom is and how it promotes employee safety with predictable and standardized communication. Learners then receive instruction on how to use HazCom information to minimize risks of chemical exposure, specifically by knowing what information is communicated and where to find it on chemical container labels and product SDSs. Lastly, this course empowers employees to speak up about any safety concerns they may have related to hazard communication and to report any violations they suspect, witness, or learn about.
This course uses branching technology to deliver additional content for managers, supervisors, and those responsible for HazCom programs.
