Complying With the Sunshine Act covers laws and best practices for collecting, documenting, and reporting financial transactions with covered recipients.
The course details who's considered a covered recipient under the law and which transactions must be reported. Learners also receive guidance on documenting and reporting payments, transfers of value, and ownership and investment interests of physicians.
Lastly, the course provides learners with instruction on escalating concerns if they suspect a violation of the Sunshine Act or other disclosure and transparency laws.
