100093 – Promoting a Drug-Free Work Environment
In this message board-themed course, employees will learn how to foster a drug-free work environment.
Learners will receive instruction about appropriate and inappropriate behavior, including what substance abuse is, how it can negatively impact workplace health and safety, and why working drug-free improves organizational culture. Employees will practice recognizing both physical and behavioral signs of this behavior. Managers receive additional training on their particular responsibilities with regard to maintaining a drug-free workplace, including appropriately responding to and handling suspected or known substance abuse issues among their employees.
Finally, the course drives home the importance of all employees speaking up if they suspect, know about or are experiencing substance abuse issues that impact the work environment.
