100077 – Complying with the FERC Standards of Conduct
Complying With the FERC Standards of Conduct details transmission providers' obligations under the Standards to provide customers with equal access to energy and to make sure that affiliates are not given undue preference.
Employees receive instruction on distinguishing between Transmission Function Employees and Marketing Function Employees. The course also explains what constitutes non-public transmission function information and best practices for protecting it. Employees receive guidance on adhering to the Independent Functioning Rule, the No Conduit Rule, the Non-Discrimination Rule, and the Transparency Rule.
Lastly, this course outlines the consequences of noncompliance and provides instruction on how to report known or suspected violations of organizational policy or the Standards.
