Trans and Non-Binary inclusion In Practice: Team Version
We know that there is a much wider spectrum of gender identities, with male and female at either end and all of the non-binary identities in between. The exception to this is agender which does not recognise gender at all. We’ll learn about these more in this section, but for now, this is what we mean by non-binary; recognising that there aren’t only two genders.
As many as 1% of the UK population experience some degree of gender non-conformity, so trans and non binary inclusion is an issue that is increasingly relevant in the modern workplace. In this short module, we provide information about how you can ensure your workplace is inclusive and supportive towards your trans and non binary colleagues and clients, including useful tips and examples to help you put what you’re learning into practice.
