Accreditations and Endorsements


Most of us know that smoking is bad for us, but do we really understand the effect that cigarettes have on our health?
This module looks at the health effects of smoking, as well as the dangers of secondhand smoke. We look at why people smoke and the benefits of quitting, as well as offering support and advice to help kick the habit.
Learning Outcomes for this module include:
Understand what ingredients are used in cigarettes and how they impact on health through direct inhalation or secondary smoking.
How stopping smoking positively impacts health and some tips on the best,proven ways to do so.
