A Guide to Reasonable Adjustment

Did you know that failing to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people could mean that you are acting unlawfully? This could result in a court case, a fine and negative publicity for your business.

This short e-learning guide will explain when and why adjustments are sometimes necessary (and why they’re sometimes not). It will help you to provide the best possible service to customers with disabilities, and at the same time ensure that your business is fully compliant with the latest legislation.

 

Learning Outcomes for this module include:

  • Understand what constitutes a ‘reasonable adjustment’ under the equality act 2010. 
  • Understand the reasons why we must make reasonable adjustments, the positive effects the changes can make and the negative impacts of not making them.
