Licensing Law for Employees Working in the Bar in Scotland

This module looks at what alcohol is and the effect it has on the human body. We focus on the main objectives of the Licensing Act 2003 and the duties of bar employees under the Act. You’ll also learn about how to avoid conflict and how to deal with conflict if it does arise.
Learning Outcomes for this module include:
Understand what alcohol is and how it affects the human body. They will also be prepared to deal with challenging customers, know how to avoid conflict and know who is responsible for their own safety.
