Topics covered in this module include the main legal responsibilities of employers and employees, hazards and risks in the workplace and the importance of maintaining suitable workplace conditions. The module also takes a look at the importance of following procedures in your workplace.Learners will understand what health and safety means, why it is important to follow the rules for health and safety and who is responsible for what.
They will be aware of the different kinds of hazards and risks that can be found at work and how to deal with these problems.
