This module will look at cryptocurrency, the rise of blockchain and clarify the common terms used in the how they are used to secure financial transaction. This module explores the advantages and disadvantages of them and looks to how they will impact transaction of the future.

In this module, your learners will look at what cryptocurrencies are and how they’re traded, and a brief history of how they came to exist. They will become familiar with the key terms used, and the advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrency. Finally, you’ll consider the future of cryptocurrency and where it fits into the financial services sector.
