Safeguarding for All: Childrens Edition
Keeping children safe is everyone’s responsibility. This module will help all of us play our part in protecting children from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
Some of these issues could be upsetting, so please be aware of this before you begin. There is information about where you can get support (including support for adults who experienced abuse when they were children) at the end of the module.
Upon completion of this module, you will:
- understand what is meant by ‘safeguarding children’
- recognise when a child may be at risk of harm
- know how to provide appropriate support
- respond to challenging situations
- understand when to seek immediate help.
It should take you around 20 minutes to complete this module. Action points are included to help your ongoing learning and there are quiz questions that will check your knowledge and understanding.
