Radicalisation (Safeguarding Edition)
Radicalisation is defined as the process by which individuals come to support terrorism and violent extremism and, in some cases, to participate in terrorist groups. This module will looks at why some adults at risk are more susceptible and how their welfare is at threat. Guidance will be provided for those working in the adult social care sector on how to identify and support those at risk of radicalisation.
Learning Outcomes for this module include:
Understand what Radicalisation is and why some people are more susceptible to it.
Understand what their role is in identifying, preventing and supporting people at risk.
