Welcome to this e-learning module about safeguarding and child protection for all healthcare staff, including commissioners of services.
Everyone who comes into contact with children and young people have a responsibility to safeguard and promote their welfare. You need to know what to do if you have any worries about a child’s welfare and think that they may be in need of protection.
Following this course, you should take time to read and understand your Trust’s safeguarding and child protection policies. If there is anything you still aren’t clear about, you must discuss this with your manager.
