Welcome to this Net Zero course on biodiversity. We will look at how the natural world has been affected by the climate crisis and how we can have a positive impact in our own environment.

Protecting biodiversity is key to achieving many of these targets and is the focus of much of the UN’s sustainability work.

According to the United Nations (UN), three-quarters of the land environment and about 66% of the marine environment have been significantly altered by human actions.

We need to act.
