Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) aims to reduce harm to consumers and strengthen market integrity by making colleagues aware of their accountabilities for their conduct and competence. They will gain clarity on who is impacted and how.Your learners will gain an overview of the component parts of the SM&CR. Senior managers will under their responsibilities under SM&CR and what that means in practice. They will understand which functions that are impacted by Certification regime. They will understand the components of a ‘fit and proper’ assessment and the two tiers of the conduct rules.
