The Control Of Noise At Work

Noise is a natural part of our environment. Wherever we go, we encounter sounds produced by what’s happening around us. Noise can, however, present a challenge when it reaches levels that can harm us. It’s the responsibility of employers to provide a safe work environment by monitoring noise and protecting employees when there’s too much noise.

This lesson will help learners understand the effects of excessive noise exposure, recognise noise problems and assess and handle noise control issues appropriately.
