Control of Substances Hazardous to Health: COSHH
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 is the law that requires all employers, including NHS Trusts, to control substances that are hazardous to health. The legislation covers the control of risks to employees and other people arising from exposure to harmful substances generated out of, or in conjunction with, any work activity under the employer’s control.
