In the UK in 2018 someone took their own life every 81 minutes. We’ve put together this e-learning module with the aim of helping people to recognise when a friend, family member or colleague is suffering from mental ill health. Suicide is becoming a more prevalent issue; there were 6,507 instances of people taking their own life in Great Britain in 2018. This module looks at the facts surrounding the issue and the positive steps that can be taken to help
Learning Outcomes for this module include:
Understand the issue and rate at which it is developing
The Risk Factors that can make an individual more susceptible to suicide
