Unconscious Bias In Practice: Team Version (EU)

We all have biases, whether we’re aware of them or not– they are just our brain’s way of making quick judgements and assessments of people and situations. Having unconscious biases doesn’t mean you act on them, and it doesn’t make you a bad person.

In this module, We’re going to discuss issues related to unconscious bias. You’ve probably heard about unconscious bias; you may even have taken some training related to it before. It’s a topic that often comes up in relation to diversity and inclusion. we’ll look at why we all have biases and how they affect the decisions we make, sometimes without our knowledge. Most importantly, we’ll offer practical tips on how to prevent your unconscious biases from negatively impacting on your colleagues and organisation.
