Accreditations and Endorsements


New thinking, coupled with a new funding model, have turned apprenticeships into a critical component of the learning and development mix. Apprenticeship starts have doubled over the past 10 years, and more people started apprenticeships in England in 2015/16 than entered Higher Education.
Note: Apprenticeships are a devolved policy; while the apprenticeship levy is UK-wide, authorities in each UK country manage their own apprenticeship programmes. This training is particular to the restructuring of apprenticeships in England.
The purpose of this module is to explain the new apprenticeship levy and to demonstrate how to fund and manage an apprenticeship programme.
